Pre-conference: 
 
Monday - Wednesday, October 2-4 
Urban Forestry Certification Program 
 
The UFCP  is a thorough entry level program meant to help existing
urban foresters, potential employees, Ag teachers and others gain
a tremendous amount of modern urban forestry knowledge.
To obtain the certificate participants will be asked to demonstrate that
knowledge in a 
certification exam on day 3 of the program.
ISA CEUs are awarded each day. 
 
Tuition is $75, or $50 for AUFA members for all three days
including the exam and certificate. 
 
 
 
 Wednesday, 
October 4
Pesticide Recertification or Tree Board Academy
Concurrent Classes
 
The Pesticide Recertification Class is a one-day class that offers modern
pesticide BMPs and helps attendees re-certify their OTPS/FOR/ROW 
pesticide licenses in AL/GA/NC/SC/TN/FL/MS and gain ISA/TCIA/
Registered Forester CEUs.
Tuition is $45. 
 
The Tree Board Academy is a one-day class designed to help existing
city tree board members, teachers, community volunteers,
Master Gardeners  learn more about selecting, installing and managing
trees in the urban environment.
Tuition is only $49. 
 
 
 
Thursday/Friday, October 5-6
AUFA Annual Conference 
 
The Annual Conference on 10/5  and 10/6 will feature excellent speakers and topics to help any urban forester, landscape manager or architect, tree board member or teacher increase their technical knowledge and results in the field and classroom. Confirmed speakers include Dr. Ed Gilman, University of Florida, Richard Bennett, Husqvarna and a host of urban forestry municipal and utility educators. Tuition is only $115 for both days  if received before September 15 or $130 at the door and includes your AUFA dues, several meals, refreshments and lots of  give-aways and door prizes! We also will allow 5 or more attendees from the same employer to register at $99 each if received by September 15.
