Photos from Arbor Days around the state include Hoover's essay contest winners, Hoover Beautification Board members, Eddie Aldridge, State Representative Paul DeMarco, City Council members Mari Morrison and John Green, and Executive Director of Aldridge
Gardens Larry Quick meeting at the Aldridge Gardens's Pavillion as part of the city celebration.

In Mountain Brook, Tree Commission Chairman, Maves Youngblood and City Manager, Sam Gaston helped distribute tree seedlings for city homeowners.

In Birmingham, students at Ossie Ware Mitchell Middle School learned about tree care from city employees and helped with the planting of several trees in front of the school. Each year, the Tree Commission selects a city school for the planting ceremony
