Grants...

AUFA is very pleased to announce that the Good Roots Grant application will be available  soon on the Alabama Power's Power of Good website. Over the past 25 years, Good Roots has provided over $700,000 in 720 grants to cities, towns and non-profits across Alabama.

Together the Alabama Power Foundation and the Alabama Urban Forestry Association have encouraged Alabamians to plant trees in parks, schoolyards and urban forests. Together we have made our communities healthier and more vibrant.

The application is available at http://powerofgood.com/goodroots/.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to plant trees!

The AUFA will also be happy to help with grant application questions and technical information on the selection and installation process.
